September/October 2008
From the Office of the GRAND KNIGHT:
First I want to express my thanks for affording me the honor to serve as Grand Knight for the next Columbian year.
This is an exciting time for our Council as we are now in our beautiful new home. Now is the time for each of us to recall
why you became a Knight and to once again get involved. This is your Council, take pride of it's long history and let's
build on it. Together we can achieve any goal that is put before us to take our Council to new heights. I only ask that you
give me and the new Board of Officers an opportunity. Come to a meeting and see for yourself what the Council is
doing. Perhaps you have an idea or suggestion for a program or event you want the Knights to run. We now have a
website, www.kofc371.org that you can visit. It will give you a calendar, the names of officers along with phone numbers
as well as a listing of programs that we will be involved in. It also contains the Star. Please visit the site.
Fraternally yours,
Rich Ludwiczewski, Grand Knight
Our thanks to Frank Martin, PGK for serving as Grand Knight for the past two years, it wasn't easy
without a home, job well done.
All meetings are at our new KofC building on 30th Street and Avenue C.
